I have text that has been created with the text tool in AE 6.0. Everything looks great in ram previews, but when i do a final render, the text looks very jagged. No anti aliasing. Why is my system doing this? My render settings are to best quality.

    Thanks,
    Fritz Sticht

What codec are you using? Check in the “output module” of the render queue.

If you are using DV, text looks very jagged when using this codec.

also check your alpha. straight alphas tend to look funny until you add the footage to a project
