Hey everyone! Just picked up a Canon T2i and I’m about to get down to editing. A few questions:

-The files the camera records are .Mov h264, what are the best project settings when opening a new project?
    -I’m recording in 24p, 720p

-When exporting, what are the best settings?

I’ve only ever used AVI’s captured from my Canon GL1, so the project settings have always just been standard DV for me, so thats why I’m confused when opening a new project.
    My preset options are:

    AVC INTRA
    AVCHD
    DV24P
DV NTSC (WHAT I’VE ALWAYS USED)
    DV PAL
    DVCPRO50
    DVCPROHD
    HDV
    MOBILE & DEVICES
    XD CAM EX
    XD CAM HD

I am working with the XDCam EX 1080p settings, which work pretty good. But Premiere CS4 has problems with the native T2i files, so it’s best to transcode them before editing into Cineform or AVID DNxHD.
