Media encoder problem
I finished a video and everything was fine in Premiere pro the whole video was there and everything synced up, but when I put it in the media encoder pieces were missing and the video was messed up at certain points. I don’t know what’s going on since the video is fine in Premiere

You might have to be more specific with “pieces were missing” and “video was messed up”, before we can help too much.

Other details that would help: operating system, version numbers of applications, kinds of input media, export settings.
Also, please note whether you’ve applied recent updates.

In Media encoder while it is rendering a part were a person is talking is gone(it says media missing)and a later clip where a person is laughing is messed up(wrong part of the clip and it freaks out like skips around)would it help if I showed you the video?

operating system is windows 7, Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, the imported media is .mp4, and the export settings are… well since I don’t know exactly what to give you I hope this is enough.
(I only messed with the video settings)
Format: H.264 with multiplexer on .mp4
Bitrate encoding is VBR,pass 1 with bitrate at 3. -

If you choose Help > About Premiere Pro, you can see the exact version number. Is it 4.2.1? If not, please install the most recent updates (Help > Updates) and try again.
