Premiere Pro CS4 – problem with output video
I’ve made a video in PPro CS4 and after exporting the video got really slower but just in few parts and in those parts audio keeps normal.
If i export whole video it happens mostly on the same place, but if i export just first half of the video, for example, it happens on different place, where it doesn’t happen normaly.
i thought it’s because while exporting i was doing simultaneously something else on computer but then when i left it alone while exporting and closed most of programs it did the same thing.
Mostly i’ve used H.264 codec, but i’ve already tried also different codecs and with those it’s even worse!
anybody knows solution ?

I have no idea what’s happening, but I guess you’ve watched your timeline through and made sure that there’s nothing odd in the original timeline prior to export?
Also, if you can identify the clips that are running slow, click on them and see if there are any effects applied that may be causing a problem. If so, try removing the effect and see if it helps.
Lastly, you could try exporting it with the media encoder. Open the media encoder and File>Add Premiere Pro Sequence and then try rendering it out from the media encoder rather than through PP … It’s worth a try.

well i do export it all the time just with media encoder…with me it’s just goes automatically…
i don’t use a lot of effects in this video…and especially in this parts there are no effects…just video file with sound…
and the timeline is correct i suppose cuz when i render whole movie it goes perfectly smoothly in all parts…
also i tried to render it all so i have green line in every place just before exporting…and still its the same…
i need to find a way…donnt wanna throw away month of work…u know 😀

Sorry not to be more helpful. You say you have tried other codecs, but have you tried exporting with a lossless codec like AVI lossless or the Animation codec for quicktime? I know these are very large, but as they are lossless they should be ok, anyway, if they work you can then re-import the file and then try exporting it again in Quicktime with the H.264 codec without worrying about loosing quality. It may not work, but it is worth trying as a work around.
However, if the lossless codec won’t work I am lost for ideas … Andrew
PS – How about trying to dynamically link the timeline to Encore and see if the timeline plays and renders through that? You will be a little restricted in your output options but it’s worth a try
