Rendered video becomes stilt white or black after a while.
Hi there!
I took a lot of good knowledge frmo Creative Cow, I hope some day i wil known enough to help others, if i won’t kill myself in next 48h:/My work is stuck from 2 weeks because of many compability problems after trying to install a new sound card, and now i’m stuck with even more bizzar problem.
I have Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.0). When i’m trying to render my projects with ANY kind of codec the encoded video turns just stilt white at random points and stays like this till the end, while sound still at normal.
Premiere doesn’t give me any pop ups, as everything goes fine.
I already tried: unnistaling K-lite codec pack (i had it installed before CS5), reinstalling CS5, rendering with media encoder etc with whole bunch of codecs. Nothing seems to work!
My OS is windows 7 x64 (7600, 6.1)
Please help me, cause those 2 weeks already broke my heart..

Hi Jakub,
Can you please supply the material format you are editing with and the export settings you have had the problem with.
Updating to 5.0.2 (using the Help Menu to run and update would be the easiest way to update to the latest version of the CS5 applications).

Hi.
I’m editing footage from Canon 5d mark II, so its in h264. I’ve tried prereleased trail of CS5 before, and it worked perfectly with no problems with editing and rendering.I’ve tried to render to h264, qucktime, dv, avi, that actually toesn’t matter cause final render is always white from a random place in timeline and it just stays like this till the end, with sound still in the backgroud. And, as i wrote before, Premiere doesn’t give me any official error, as enything runs just fine:(
I will try updateing to 5.0.2, thanks for that clue.
And i forgot to mention, my friend work right beside me on exactly the same OS, cs5 wersion and fottage with no problems.
My head is just to small for that..
