I shoot DVCPRO HD and edit in FCP.
We have a client that needs to also provide finished video clips to some folks in Germany.
We have been going back and forth trying to workout a format that I can provide to them that they can import into Adobe Premiere on Windows.

They sent me a clip that works for them-

    1280 X 720
    30 fps
apple photo – jpeg millions of colors
    16bit big indian mono 16.kHz

So I replicate this and send them a file.
The only dif is the audio setting is slightly different:

They get an error and cannot import. Here is the windows generic error:

    Anyone have a suggestion?
    Thank You so Much.

Maybe it has something to do with the PAL/NTSC Setting?

Did you guys agree on the proper setting for this as well?

Ya, I started out making PAL clips and they went with 30fps.
I guess I could try a PAL conversion but w/ 30 FPS instead of 25?

    Thanks.

Ya, Can’t seem to make a PAL HD clip w/ Compressor. I have some converts to PAL DV or DV50 but not DVCPRO HD PAL.

You can use AE to make the conversion to NTSC HD to PAL HD. Maybe other cna chime on on the proper settings.

    good luck
