  H264 Export

  Hello,

  I am exporting a short animation , based on Quicktime animation codec files.
  The export settings are Quicktime, H.264 – 100 percent quality,

  1920 x 1080, square pixels, set bit rate – maximum.

  yet I get a very low quality result..

  can anyone help ? (I am using Premiere CS4)

  Bitrate is the key…Set it to about 25 Mbps.

  I set it to the maximum which is 144,000 kbs and still I got a low result..

  After that I tried a different method- I used the H.264 option from the main menu (before it was Quicktime, and then H.264 as the codec).
  This worked , and I got a high quality mp4 file.
