  QT PNG codec results in “serious error” in Premiere Pro 1.5.1

  Hello all.

  Recently, I’ve started rendering my .mov files with the PNG codec (virtually lossless).

  We recently upgraded After Effects from 6.5 to CS4. While using 6.5, the png-encoded QT mov’s played fine with Premiere 1.5. Now, with CS4, I can’t import them without Premiere encountering the “serious error” and crashing…especially if the file has an alpha channel.

  Does anyone know a fix about this? Is there a setting that I should or shouldn’t use with the PNG codec?

  Upgrading Premiere is out of the question. Trust me…I’ve begged.
