Export Pixelation
I’m not sure if this has been covered or not but…
I’m currently using Premier CS4 and I want to export as WMV through Adobe Media Encoder, but no matter what settings I give it the end result leaves the video looking pixelated as if some sort of anti aliasing has been removed. I used to use Premier 2.0 and done exactly what I used to do on there here on CS4 but nothing seems to be making any difference.
Even the highest of every quality setting is leaving it pixelated, whats going on here? -

What are your sequence settings? What are the properties of your source video? What are your export settings?

Sequence settings ive set to be exactly the same resolution and frame rate as the source video i use the desktop setting Square pixels (1.0) whenever i do anything so it doesnt get deformed into widescreen or 4:3 it stays exactly the size i put in the boxes which is 1440×900.
That isnt the problem because when i look at the video when ive imported into my project the quality is still fine and it fits perfectly i dont need to rescale and theres no pixelation but when i go to export which i keep the same as the source video again it suddenly screws all that up
Export settings are the same resolution as the video i use desktop Square pixels(1.0) again so theres no chance of resizing it stays 1440×900, ive tried progressive scan, upper and lower with no improvment on the results Ive tried changing the bitrate on every possible constraint with and without 2 encoding passes to the highest it will go with pixelation remaining to annoy me
The amount of different versions of this WMV file I have on my drive are just crazy
I refuse to believe its my computers fault because i had Premier 2.0 on this very machine and that worked perfectly but for some reason i cant re-install that

Oh you will not believe how retarded Ive been, I’ve only just noticed that Allow Interlaced Processing was UNTICKED, everything is fine now… I feel like a complete idiot.
