Best format compression/conversion for .mov files taken on a head cam for use in adobe premiere
Hey there!
I just got a Contour HD Head Cam that records 1280×720 .mov files in full HD with a codec of H.264 and AAC audio. I’m looking for a quick turn around with the content I record, capturing it then putting it on YouTube as fast as possible. So far I’ve tried simply compressing the video files in MPEG streamclip in H.264 at 50% quality and left the audio as is but still find I need to render in Adobe Premiere Elements (I know, the company bought the program and so I’m forced to use it. Don’t judge me 🙂 ). Any thoughts on what the fastest workflow would be to get this content on the web? I’m willing to sacrifice image quality for speed.
Thanks so much!
