I just put adobe media encoder CS4 on my PC which is not the top of the line. I am trying to encode to a flash and it is really slow. Just wondering if there are any suggestions to speed up the process or if there is something that I need to beef up on the PC? Any input is much appreciated.

The maximum ammount of ram your operating system is capable of using, and the faster the processor the faster the encoding, and a disk system capable of feeding the system without choking

List your current computer’s specs so we can help you decide the direction to go. Like the other poster says, faster processor, more ram.
