  • When rendering video preview, the image squishes into bizarre aspect ratio

I am trying to render files in CS4 in order to preview them in real time, but when I do the video squishes to a ratio about half the height and twice the width. This has been a persistent problem with numerous file types, but what I am dealing with specifically now are .mov files from a Canon 7D that have been run through Cineform and converted to .avi’s. It has also been a problem with Nikon D90 video files. It appears to be totally random, as sometimes I have a project that utilize these file types and I can render things fine. All of the footage is being interpreted properly, and my sequence setting are correct. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
