  • Dynamically Linked AE comp not rendering

When I look at the comp and pram it in AE it looks and plays back great.

When I look at the comp and scrub it in Premiere, to which it is dynamically link, it looks great.

When I export the sequence out of Premiere, in which the comp is placed, and render it as an mp4 or really anything, you can hear the audio but no video. Black screen.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Dynamic Link should be called “Dynamic Stink”. I have give up on it. Sorry I don’t have any further advice.

    I solved the problem.

Apparently in 4.2.1 there is a bug that if the fps of the Dynamically linked comp is not the same as the sequence fps…it won’t render the comp.

I changed the comp from 30fps to 29.97 to match the sequence and it rendered.
