File Format Question again
Hi there,
I have several .avi files – 1920×1200, 29.97 to import to Premiere CS4 and combine/edit; then create a high-res output file.I created a new project with Premiere preset: AVCHD 1080p30 (frame size: 1920×1080, 29.97fps, aspect=1, square pixels). After editing, I exported to Encoder (File > Export > Media). To best match my input files and get the high quality res, I chose Encoder Export Settings — Format: MPEG2 Blu-ray – Preset: HDTV 1080i 29.97 High Quality.
The Encoder Summary box read: NTSC, 1920×1080, 29.97 drop frame[fps], Upper, Quality 4.0; Sound 48kHz, 16 bit, stereo PCM; VBR (variable bit rate), 1 Pass, min=25, target=30, max=35 Mbps. The output file became: filename.m2vThe video portion was fine, but there was no audio. Does this format create a separate audio file like format MPEG2-DVD? I couldn’t find any separate audio file. Why no audio? I later created an AVI file and all was fine with that output file.
And are there any suggestions for better settings that would achieve a hi-res output file as close as possible to the input files at 1920×1200?
Thanks,
