  Global Changes to Mask keyframes?

  Hi,

  Does anyone know how or if it is possible to make global changes to a series of key frames on a layer?

  I have a mask from another layer. That layer has different dimensions. I’d like to apply a scale and rotation
  to all the mask shape key frames on the new layer – globally.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  No, not really. Masks are treated relative to the layer size, not in world coordinates and you can’t access any of their parameters directly. You really can only solve this the hard way by manually scaling and adjusting the masks at every keyframe.

  I recommend you copy and paste the mask to a new solid, then use that solid as a track matte for the layer that you were masking before. Then you can change the Scale and Rotation properties of the solid itself.

  … since you cannot scale or rotate a group of mask shape keyframes at once.

  … if I understand your meaning.
