CS4 Title edits causing crash
I am trying to edit a video in CS4 that was originally created in CS3. I have not had any issues editing anything until I went to adjust the Titles. It appears if I try to edit the current title or add a new one, it causes Premiere to crash (I get the white screen, “This program is not responding”, etc). Has anyone had this problem or an idea on how to get around it?

The Title Tool is one of my favorite features in Premiere Pro, and yet it does seem to act erratically from time to time… I had thought that CS4 was running smoother with title-heavy projects than CS3 was, but I haven’t done a lot of project migration from CS3 to CS4.
Did you simply open the project in CS4? I wonder if importing the project into a new CS4 project would improve the behavior of the titler?
