  • Export to tape, do i need to render audio previews?

    Hello,

I have a frustrating problem, i have some PAL DV material i have rendered and now wish to export the final product direct to DV tape. But it insists on doing a lengthy rendering of “audio previews” before it goes into exporting to tape

My question is, after rendering the final product should i have to be rendering audio etc all over again? Is there something i am missing that can turn off this feature?

Render audio before export prevents sequences containing complex audio from causing dropped frames during export.

    I’ll clarify a little further….

i do not have the option to render audio ticked on the export dialog box.

There is nothing complex about the audio of my project, its just one long video clip with no cuts

i am now getting it wanting to render video previews as well as audio previews before it will export an already rendered clip to tape

i want to know why i cant just export it to tape once its rendered? its just one long clip of video and audio no cuts
