Hey everyone, im sure theres 100 other posts out there asking this question, but im shooting regualar DV 60i with the GL2’s and when im exporting with CS4, should I use lower fields or progressive. Ive always been under the impression that i should use native format, which would be lower. but does selecting progressive de-interlace the footage to get rid of all of the digital artifacts?

    thanks much

Best is to leave it to lower field. Exporting to progressive means throwing away half of your vertical resolution. If interlacing artifacts are very annoying then exporting to progressive is the only way
