I am having a problem with Premiere Pro. When I click play and watch the video on the playback screen everything is fine. But a clip I JUST WATCHED on the playback screen has not even been reached yet on the time line. My playback screen plays everything about 2 seconds faster than the time line and I think it’s throwing off the sync of my final movie. When I render the movie to my desktop, the audio seems to be a smidgen off. Cuts I edited to a certain beat are not right on the button making for a very off video (something I never had a problem with before.)

Does this clip have some sort of exotic codec?

I have no idea what that means, but this has been happening for all my projects – not just one clip.

    What are your source clips.
If you do not know run them thru Gspot and tell us the codec.
