  CS4 4.0.0 gives me no option to export as AAF

  Hi…according to the manual, I should be able to export my Premiere project to AAF by clicking (Project –> Export Project)

  Yet when I click on the Project menu, the only options I have are:

  1. Project Settings
  2. Link Media
  3. Make Offline
  4. Automate to Sequence
  5. Import Batch List
  6. Export Batch List
  7. Project Manager
  8. Remove Unused

  Any suggestions? Do I not have the right thing selected in the project before opening the Project menu?

  Select the sequence first in the project panel.

  Project > Export Project as AAF

  That may be one of the features that was left out in the initial release if i remember correctly.

  You’re several updates behind…v4.2 is current. I think if you update (not upgrade…no charge) your Adobe software, you’ll be in business.

  Tim is correct. We didn’t have AAF support with first release. The 4.0.1 update gave it back but as we are in 4.2 now it’s been back for a while. Run 1 of the cs4 apps and go to help>updates… Close your app and let the updated download and install everything it wants to.
