  Problem Exporting in CS4. Pleas Help.

  I have been successfully exporting movies in premiere pro cs4 for ages and now it suddenly doesn’t want to work. I go to export or begin to encode it as avi or whatever and nothing happens. The timer stops on sat 13 seconds and no information about the exporting is displayed.
  I had a simpler problem not long ago and i found on the net a kind of “hack” that allows me to alter some ‘hidden’ settings in preferences. You had to hold down ctrl or something while you went through edit>preferences>general and i could change a setting that gave me more space or something along those lines. I can’t specifically remember what settings or buttons to hold.
  Could anyone tell me that sequence of buttons and what i need to do. If that doesn’t work, which i think it should, i’ll get back to you. Any other suggestions to help prevent this from happening again is more than welcome.

  Try cleaning the Media Cache Database;
  Edit>preferences>Media>Clean

  Also delete Premiere’s preference file;
  C:\Documents and Settings\mike\Application Data\Adobe\Premiere Pro\4.0\Adobe premiere Pro Prefs
