  suddenly no playback

  I’m running PP CS3 on an HP Pavillion dv 8000. It’s been working great. This morning the playback stopped working when I hit the spacebar or the play button in the source or monitor windows. I can scrub and see picture and hear sound but no playback at speed. All the clips play fine in QT and WMP indepentently. Weird. Help! Larry

  Sounds like a bad plugin. Are you running any specific effects. Either way, try disabling all effects and see if that helps.
