Trouble with what type of files and codecs to use
Hi all,
Ive got a 5 hour recording off of the TV, which is 15gig big. It was recorded in MPEG-2 format.
Im using AVS Video Converter to convert this into a *.avi so that i can use premiere to trim the video, cut out commercials etc.
What video and audio codecs should i be using when converting the mpeg to a avi ready for premiere?Ive tried a few test runs with smaller clips, they’ve worked fine, but soon as i convert the 5hr long file the audio doesnt come through once imported into premiere?
These are the options of codecs to use when converting? Which one’s best for use in premiere??
