I am working on a DVD for a graduation and have been using Premiere Pro 2.0. My footage was shot with a Canon XH-A1. Therefore, my project is set up for HDV footage.

My problem is that I cannot create a custom menu like I normally do. Whenever I drag my footage onto my menu, it does not show. I have created custom menues before, but never with a project that uses the patch for HDV footage.

How do I get my custom motion menu to work? The video for the menu is a custom motion graphic I made. I have tried several different resolutions(including 1440×1080 1.33 and 1920×1080) 1.0, but have yet to get anything to work. Any ideas?

DVD specs are 720×576/480 but your timeline is not.
So edit your hdv footage in a hdv timeline, when ready nest it in a SD timeline and scale the footage down to fit the frame.
Then you might be able to make a dvd menu.
I hope this works because i do not have Pro 2 installed anymore and test it for you.
