CS3 export audio issues – Assistance Needed
Hi guys, im new around here and first off i’ve been consulting these forums for a while now and its really helped solving problems ive had when editing my film on CS3. Now i’ve come across a problem i can’t solve. I’ve exported my film but now when i play it back, the audio seems to skip, its sounds as if i’ve lept a split second gap between each new audio cut and i have no idea how to solve it. It all sounds fine in premiere but i watched the exported file on WMP and burned it to a DVD and watched it through a PS3 and its glaringly obvious and ruins the film.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your audio muxed into the MPEG? Or is it a separate WAV or mpa file?
Are the gaps consistent with audio cross fades?

Hi Jon, thanks for the reply. It seems that the problem is with the Mpeg audio and not the rest, as far as i can make out. And the gaps are consistent with the fades yes.

I’ve solved it! It was the rather inexplicable addition to every track of the multiband compressor. Thanks for the reply anyway though. The forums have been a real help and i look forward to becoming a more regular contributor as i get to grips with the Adobe Master Collection.

Hey, I was wondering what exactly you did to fix the issue involving the multiband compressor tracks. I need to keep the compression on there but taking it off seems like the only thing that helps. Does premiere add time to the track or something?
