  Export audio sync problems

  I’m using premiere cs4. My camera is a panasonic sd100 and I upload the .mts files from the camera to the computer and then import them in Premiere.

  I want to export some video’s without editing, so I export them directly from the source window. Source audio format is
  48 khz-compressed-stereo
  video:
  size 1920×1080
  pixel depth
  25 fps
  pixel aspect ratio 1.0

  when I try to export it as a quicktime movie with H.264 codec, 25fps, field type progressive, square pixels. Audio AAC, 48 khz stereo, the audio is always faster than the image. Does anyone know how I can prevent this? Is there a setting I have to change?

  Export to Quicktime format is currently broken in CS4. The 4.1 update (due the end of May) is supposed to fix this.

  You can currently get around this by exporting to an intermediate format (uncompressed or losslessly compressed) and then use an extrenal encoder like Quiktime Pro to get what you want.
