I have a 5 second clip im trying to export. Its an earth zoom with massive timewarp on it. The video plays fine in ppro but whenever i export it, ive tried tons of export settings, it plays then when it gets to the beef of the timewarp its just black, then it picks up again later. Any idea why i get blackness?

    Thanks!

Can you give some more detail…source format…effects that are on the clip…what formats you’ve tried to export…what exactly is on the timeline…etc.

    Thanks

As Curt says: “try adding one opacity keyframe set to 0 on the clip that is rendering black and try again.”

Oh…I forgot about that one. I haven’t run into that yet myself.

    Thanks Eddie.

It’s a pretty insidious one. We’re all anxiously waiting for Adobe to stomp that one. Rumour has it the 4.1 update will be released around the NAB timeframe.

    Indeed, it will. 🙂

Turns out the timewarp effect was just too much to render out. I pulled the speed of the effect down from 308 to 268 and now it works just fine.

    Thanks.
