    Nice to meet you again…

To day I find some problem with my premiere pro.
When I try to Capture, a message will appear “connection error”.
The first time, I thing this problem comes from my software. I Just re install premiere and still not work. All the setting is fine but capture still problem.

Yesterday My power supply (400 watt) has broken. I changed with 300 Watt, and I add one harddisk to my computer for video editing. Since that All capture always fail.

Do you thing that the problem come from my small Power supply (300 watt) All program running well except capturing.

My PC has two cd rom (cd & dvd rom), 2 harddisk ( 40 gb & 80 gb .

Please let me know and thanks

    regards.

I would try plugging in my camera/cable to a different computer. If that connects, then your firewire card is suspect.

I would definitely suspect the power supply. Personally I would not put anything smaller than a 500w in any editing system. I would also not go with the cheapest. Power issue lead to about 50% of problems that I have diagnosed over the past 20 years.
