  Squashed quicktime output

  I am trying to output a quicktime file from Premiere on a PC. The output is squashed. I get the same results from the project out of AE. The file is 720×480 .9 etc. Pretty standard stuff. I have tried a few permutations and get the exact same result. Thanks for any help.

  Squashed vertically or horizontally? Are you previewing on a TV via DVD? What version of Premiere? What are your Project settings for resolution and pixel aspect ratio?
  What are your export settings for resolution and pixel aspect ratio?

  I encountered the same problem. When deinterlacing the clip all was well.

  THANKS FOR THE HELP! Just click deinterlaced and life is good again. That was a waste of a day.
