okay guys I’m trying to edit this video and every time I upload it in Premiere Pro and event pro shows saying ” File importer has detected an error in the file structure of [file name] . Reading and writing this file’s metadata (XMP) has been disabled.”

however the file still imports into premiere but the audio doesn’t sync up with the video when its played in the source monitor. It feels as if its random.

Anyone know what the problem is??

The video clip is in avi format and I’m running it on a IBM T61 with Core 2 duo 2.2 ghz processor and 2 gb of RAM

[Anthony Vona] “The video clip is in avi format”

Unfortunately that tells us very little. What codecs are used in the AVI file?

    Cheers
