I am trying to animate some very fine lines in aftereffects, but when i try to go lower then 1 point, it becomes jagged.
Is 1 point the thinnest that I can go? or is there any other ways to work around it?

2 pixels is the minimum for video output

    anything else will flicker

The reason behind the flicker is interlace. Television sets will display the 1 pixel line on for one field, then off for the next. Fine lines can be helped by using the reduce interlace filter in AE. This filter adds vertical blur. Thin lines get worse when you move them. The flicker becomes more apparent.
