  Need Help with Strobe Effect

  Hey anyone who can help me answer this i will greatly appreciate it. My question is in the Strobe effect because i am new to this, how is period different from duration? I am trying to make my videos look most like the music videos in real life by making a clip blinking constantly with the strobe effect. Can someone help me with this please?
