  All media offline after reinstall?

  Help!

  I just had to freshly install Windows + all software. When I loaded up my 90 minute project I discovered that it’s lost the link to all media! The files are on an external drive along with the project files, so no relative paths have been altered. I’ve opened this project on another machine before without any problems, so why has it suddenly lost the links to every media file? Is there a way to recconnect them that won’t take me all night?

  Aaahhh…..licked it…

  Premiere uses absolute file paths and the drive letter of my external HDD had changed. Switching it back soollved the problem.

  Nothing to see here…..!
