  Premiere CS4 Crashes After Loading ExporterQuickTime.prm

  Ok, so, on the splash screen (The screen that opens up while Premiere Pro is loading, and shows you what exactly is loading) it shows what is loading, and right after it loads ExporterQuickTime.prm it closes. The thing that is currently loading when it crashes goes too fast for me to read it, so if anyone knows what loads after ExporterQuickTime.prm it’d help if you could please tell me.

  Also, I’m kind of curious to why my Premiere keeps crashing on start up at the same time every time. I meet all requirements and such. I’ve browsed the web for answers and no one seems to have anything other than the usual “Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling quicktime and premiere?” Which I have.

  I’m running a Windows Vista with a AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+. 2048 MB RAM, 120GB Hard drive, and a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE graphics card.

  If anyone has any answers other than linking me to adobe tutorials that don’t say anything about this issue, that’d be great 🙂

  The splash loading screen runs to fast for me to read;
  Try uninstalling QT player if it is 7.5+
  Third party plug-ins can cause the problem, try moving any/all from Premiere’s plug-in folder.

  I’m with Mike, temporarily rename your VST plugins folder as well, if you have one under C:\Program Files\Steinberg.

  Some more troubleshooting tips.
