  • Where is – Premiere Pro CS3: Time Remapping Part 2

Posted by Joe Landau on December 9, 2008 at 2:17 am

I was watching the tutorial “Premiere Pro CS3: Time Remapping Part 1” on the CreativeCow forum. It alludes to a Part 2. I could not find Part 2. Does it exist? I have a devil of a time figuring out how to reverse the clip motion using Time Remapping. Are there any good tutorials how to do that? The Help file is no help (unless you know how it works)

    Thanks,

    Joe

After setting the time remapping key frame, drag the right half of the keyframe to the right while holding the Ctrl key down.
The Alt modifies the process for stopping motion.
Premiere’s Help file details things nicely.

You will find more time remapping tutorials here.

I have tried that, but as I drag the right side of the Keyframe to the right (while holding down the CTRL key), PP generates two additional keyframes and does not let me drag the right side all the way to the left. What I am trying to do, is reverse the whole clip. Setting Clip/Duration to Reverse creates a fuzzy playback. I would rather have the Remapping work for me.

    Thanks,

    Joe
