  Audio Issue

  Using Premiere Pro I have audio on track one and track two. When playing in some dvd players the audio on track one you can’t hear. But if I put it in another dvd player you can hear track one. Unfortunately, the player we use to broadcast on our cable channel is one that you can’t hear the audio on track one. What am I doing wrong?

  Are both tracks sending audio to both left and right channels.

  Enable them one at the time and check the master meter to make sure both channels are up.

  That’s all I can think of at this point other than a badly configured home theater system.

  Hi,

  Are each of the audio tracks in Premiere Project Stereo and does each contain material on only left or right?

  or

  In the Premiere Pro Mixer are the audio Tracks panned hard left and hard right?

  Is your project intended to have split track audio (Audio passing discretely over the left and right channels?) or a stereo mix?

  sometimes this is done for multi language tape masters…

  but people forget to change things up for a DVD master…

  And, not to state the obvious: if it is only your b’cast playback machine that exhibits this behavior– check the cables…
