    Hi, guys,

Long time, no see, right? Heheh… Anyway, the HD problem is going to be solved one way or the other–either by CS4 or by a duplication house that has a machine that will automatically do the pull-down and force perfect sync. Anyway, this is an entirely different question that I know is much easier to answer.

I’m using Pro 1.5 right now, and I’m planning to upgrade in the next couple days or so, probably. But right now, I’m exporting my film directly to DVD for a festival screener. When I’ve used the “Export to DVD” function in the past, I get the choice of multitudes of PAL and NTSC settings (I just use the default high quality NTSC), but what I don’t get is the option to make my disc region-free, region-1, etc. They always play on the regular players here that are set to 1 or All, but I need to know for sure this time, because I said I was sending a Region 0. Are the discs I’m exporting from Premiere automatically all-region (Region 0), or Region 1? How can I tell what region DVD I made? (I would usually need all-region DVD’s as screeners.) Does CS4 allow you to pick or at least see the region as you export it?
    Sincerely,
    Alyssa

I’m not sure in CS4 if they added multiple regions to Export-to-DVD in PPro, but I know in Encore you can choose which region the DVD is burned to. Hope that helps. 🙂
