  Premiere Pro CS2 and true 24p?

  I’m currently using CS2 along with a Matrox RT x100 card/software.
  Can I capture and edit in true 24p with this combination? I’d like to shoot a test in 24pA and edit that way.

  I already know that shooting in 24p and setting up in 29.97 works in Premiere with the Matrox. I’m just not sure about the 24pA working or not.

  No. RT.X100 can’t ingest or edit in native 24pA. That will have to be an Adobe software preset. The footage is probably embedded in 29.97 so it works there, but not many cameras actually shoot in true 24P, which is really 23.978 no actually 24.

  Search for other users of the camera you wich to shoot on and look for editing workflows they’ve used and got to work with Premiere Pro.
