September 9, 2008 at 4:47 pmDo I need a PHD? Can’t follow the tutorial! Can’t make the points to decrease or increase speed. Either can’t see a black line… only a yellow one (in the timeline) but in the effects control is black but in the tutorial never mention where to you make the adjustments. I cut the clip and leave space ahead to be sure is not a problem.
Have to be a trick or something I’m omitting.Remember the days when I tried to follow Encore tutorials. Can remember the the host name) but was impossible to follow by me. Then I discover the steps by myself and was sooo easy. The training conductor was confusing and to step over and easy task. Could be same thing is happening here

September 10, 2008 at 2:56 amYou do the time remapping in the timeline. Once you set the keyframes with the arrow and holding ctl or cmd (mac) you pull down for slower or up for faster the yellow band in the clip when its in the timeline. the clip wil dynamically sdjust the position of the following keyframes you made to compensate the speed difference.
