  • Problems with rotation and export to DVD Premiere 1.5

Posted by Oleg Fecanin on August 31, 2008 at 8:56 pm

I have a clip of 750 x 480. I have rotated the clip about 90 degrees and zoom it in to fit the width. It is still quite sharp, but problem begins when I export it to DVD. I have used 16:9 NTSC High Quality 1 pass (have tested more) and the result is little bit shaky.
    Anyone has experience with this?
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Oleg

Try flicker removal in the field options.

    Thanks Ann,

I’ll try that. Actually I have found out this: besides the rotation and the scale I had also applied a speed reduction. (90%). All these 3 factors together caused flickering. When I omitted the speed reduction the DVD was burned just fine.
Now I am going to try it with the speed reduction and with the flicker removal tool.
    Thanks for your help!
