  Can’t hear audio in timeline/sequence – Premiere Pro 2.0

  Can’t hear audio in my Premiere Pro 2.0 project/timelines..

  I have 2 different computers.. it works just fine importing any mp3 file i want, and playing back in timeline.

  But on the newer laptop, where I just installed 2.0, I can import/link the mp3, but it won’t play back in the timeline nor in the source window.

  I import an fully edited .wmv video, and I see the pictures, but no audio, so this leads me to believe i missing a codec somewhere?

  However audio files such as .wav and .avi play just fine.

  Anyone have any clues how to fix this? Am I missing a codec possibly on this new laptop/workstation?

  Which Codec do I have to get?

  Run your files through Gspot that will tell you which codec is missing or not.
