  Could you please advise how I get new clips into new bins?

  I have rightly or wrongly renamed a track in the timeline and am separating the tracks into indivdual useful clips.I would,however,like to create a new bin and put these clips in that and NOT on the timeline so that I can drag and drop them from there as neecessary.Can you please advice how to do this?

  I think you are reffering to subclips. You wouldn’t be using the timeline but the source window instead.
  Make your in and out point, then right click and “Create Subclip”. This will create new clips within Premiere, but not on your harddrive.

  Hi Vince,
  That would make a lot of sense as it seemed in the past that my hard drive was filling up probably as I had multiple copies of the same file!
