I am trying to capture footage from HDCAM as DVCPRO100, since I do not have a high speed disk available. This is what we have always done on Final Cut Pro, but it seems to not be available as a capture setting in Premiere. I looked at the documentation, which states that it is compatible but does not come natively with the software. Where do I find an update to be able to do this – if I even can? If this is not the case, what other options do I have for recording 1080i 60p footage over SDI? The lowest (disk writing speed) option I have is 8-bit YUV 4:2:2, which is still too fast for my drive – as it crashes after 8 seconds. Thanks in advance

What kind of capture card are you using – doesn’t it have capture options? PPro only does DVCProHD natively if it’s in the P2 format.
