  • Creating clips of original footage

This is hopefully a pretty simple question. I use CS3, and I’ve captured in HD. Now I want to create clips of my captured footage in its uncompressed original format (for eventual export from one server system to another that’s unconnected). What would be the best way to create (or extract) the clips? My original footage was in HD, 1080 24p captured in Quicktime, with square pixels.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

The best thing would be to export in the same format the clips are currently in, unless you’ve altered the footage in the timeline, such as with color correction. Is that footage uncompressed?
