    Hi there,

I’m running Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and when I copy clips (video and audio) from one timeline, open up another project file, and paste them in that timeline, everything works fine. When I save the project, exit Premiere Pro, and open it back up again, however, the audio is gone. The audio TRACKS themselves are still there, but no audio plays and no waveforms are seen. Anybody have any idea what’s going on?

    Thanks,

    Jordan

Generally, if Premiere shows an audio track in the timeline, but no sound is heard, it’s a codec issue.
Perhaps if your source files are multiplexed MPEG files, this may be the problem.
Do you have enough HD space that you could decompress the source files before editing? What codecs/formats are the AV files?
