  dv device play button grey-out

  I’ve been using CS3 for almost a year.
  Never had trouble before in capturing,
  until today :

  I can’t press all the buttons but REC button
  when I want to capture my handycam
  from dv device in CS3 – which has status ONLINE.
  (they are greyed-out, except the REC button).

  lucky enough, I still can capture
  by press PLAY on my handycam, then
  press REC on the CS3 capture interface.

  Though it’s not a big problem then
  (since I still can do the capture)
  but it really annoyed me.

  I’ve tried using small DVcapture program
  (DV-CaptureFlux) and all the button work properly.
  So I assume there’s something wrong within CS3.

  Will re-install CS3 fix the problem ?

  I’ve read from internet that in CS3
  we can’t just do re-install PP-cs3.
  We need to do clean install, that’s it
  remove ALL Adobe CS3 application,
  then redo a fresh clean install.

  Is it true ? because it will be
  a bit aggravating to have un-install all CS3
  then install back all while the problem is only PP-cs3.

  Oh my… PP-CS3 is a nice program,
  but since it’s all integrated to other CS3 program
  I think it’s difficult to fix when
  there’s a problem with one of the program.

  Any kind of answer will be greatly appreciated.
