    At first I thought it was extreme displacement mapping. But then the effect of the smear looks extremely close to the artifacting of Revision Motion Blur and Revision Twixtor. I wonder if it is one of the two with the the settings cranked way up. When these two try to calculate the vector flow motion effect, and things change too much on them, they get smeary and trippy.

    Just a thought.

    You can build the special color bars in AE using ramp, mosaic, colorama, & then a little precomping & some masks.

    For morphing transitions, maybe Sapphire_DistortBlur using a fractal noise image map.

    I’m pretty stumped on the tiling/kaleido look in the middle of the image at about 1.5 sec on the first
    movie.

    applying fast blur & colorama with a different output cycle preset like “Golden 2” to video gives it a look sort of like the smeary colors

    that’s all I’ve got.

    Actually try the Directional Blur in SmoothKit with length and Blur amount cranked up, does pretty much that
