  DVD export only outputing 1 audio channel… please help

  I have 1hour 40 minutes footage to export to DVD. I’ve checked all settings, and checked the audio, and everything meant to go just fine. I’m certain I got it on the right settings. Once I export to DVD, only 1 good audio channel is exported. The left channel was good audio, while the right channel is a good quality audio but I have to crank up the right channel volume to 5db until I could hear anything.

  I checked again and back in PP both channel were going. I’ve tried exporting it as m2v and make it into DVD in Encore but the same thing happened. I’ve exported it into avi and re-imported it back in and it still did the same thing.

  Any ideas where I might have gone wrong? Please help.

  The pp project is Standard PAL 48kHz. And the settings I used to export to DVD is the same settings I normally use to export to DVD and up until now I didn’t have any trouble exporting to DVD.

  Previewing audio in Premiere is both a hearing thing AND visual using the Audio Master Meters or the Audio mixer. There you can see the balance between right and left channels and correct as needed.
