PPCS3 red flashes in video after render
I have PPCS3 running on a dual processor amd platform with 4Gb of ram; PPCS3 works well but the video output after rendering shows red flashes (frames) interspersed throughout the video. This did not occur with this same video in PP 1.51; This problem occurs after rendering the clip in the timeline and in exported files of various types. My settings are at 30fps and optimize stills is off with maximum bit depth selected; ?? Any Suggestions ??

What are the properties of your source material?
Why is your Project settings frame rate set to 30 and not 29.97?
Is your target web or DVD? -
Here are the source properties for the affected clip:

Average Data Rate: 1,016 KB / second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.2 (1.2)The entires project is 76 minutes long and has various source materials. This clip exhibits the red flashes after rendering. These flashes are seen both after rendering and viewing in the timeline as well as when output to file or dvd.
Any suggestions? 🙂

The data rate is way too low, try 7 mbps.

Thanks for the help: The rate change did help remove the random red flashes (frames) after rendering.

Not sure if you received my message. I compress the files as Windpws medi or Flash Video with a bit rate deliver to go over the network at 250 kbs. Is that the rate you are talking about to get rid of the red flash frames? If not what data rate are you talking about and how do you change it? Thanks. Please respond to romoss@fdic.gov.
