  Export all timeline clip info to external file

  I want to create a separate external list of ALL clips (in text or spreadsheet format) which appear in, and in the same order of appearance in the timeline. In the timeline sequence, by pointing at each clip, you get the IN and OUT within the timeline and the duration of each clip. I would like to get that information for the further elaboration the edit script requirements. It would also be “nice” to have the additional descriptive info in the Info panel.

  The Info panel seems to only place the clip names in DOS order. (It doesn’t seem to be possible to output the entire Info panel list of clips with clip descriptions either.)

  [Aside: I have yet to see if the XMP metadata will be of any use to me at this time – there is simply too much info for my purposes, and I usually have little or no time to enter all the “data” for each clip suggested in the XMP template, eg. as to camera operator or copyright or whatever.]

  The PDF export for Clip Notes also takes too long, and not really all that necessary for working with my clients, who will assist in the creation of a verbatim transcript within and outpoints.

  Any collective wisdom appreciated.
